SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM

The Senior Nutrition Program serves 23 communities with Congregate Dining and Home Delivered and Frozen Meals. Frozen Meals are available for weekend, holiday, emergency and rural delivery. The Program promotes health and independent
living in the senior population through improved nutrition and reduction of social isolation.

Volunteers are the core of the Senior Nutrition Program. The Program could not operate without the volunteers that provide volunteer hours in numerous different capacities. Communities in the five counties also provide continuing support for the Senior Nutrition Program and its participants.

Participants are asked to donate what they can afford for the cost of each meal. Suggested donation rate is $3.25. Participant donations account for over 41% of the total operating budget for the Program.
