                                                                     PRAIRIE FIVE RIDES TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM

                              The Prairie Five RIDES transit system is a demand responsive combination of Volunteer Driver
                               and bus service.

-Eligibility: General Public of all ages
Serves the counties of: Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift and
Yellow Medicine

City Systems: Appleton, Canby, Madison, Ortonville

-Destinations with buses: Twin Cities, Marshall, Willmar, St. Cloud.
We go to areas throughout the state with Volunteer Drivers and some locations
to North & South Dakota.

- Please call in your reservations twenty-four (24) hours in advance for regional rides.

Cities of Appleton,Canby,Madison and Ortonville : Winter Hours - Monday through Friday,
7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Hours Regional System: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Dispatch Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

-City Fares-

Cost: $1.00 one-way for everyone.
City Transit Monthly Pass: Unlimited Rides for everyone at $25.00
Youth (K - 12) Summer Pass: Unlimited Rides for $35.00
Youth (K - 12) Punch Card: 20 punches for $14.00
General Public Punch Card: 16 punches for $13.00
Senior Punch Card: 16 punches for $8.00
